5.7-LITRE PETROL ENGINE, 6-SPEED ‘PADDLE SHIFT’ TRANSMISSION
The new LX 570 luxury SUV is powered by the largest engine ever fitted to a Lexus.Delivering 270 kW of power and 530 Nm of torque, it works seamlessly with a veryflexible 6-speed ‘paddle shift’ automatic transmission for both dynamic and smoothgear changes. The LX 570 will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds up to a top speed of 220 km/h (electronically limited). With its V8 cylinder block diecastin lightweight yet strong aluminium alloy, it is also an engine that will last – givinggreat reliability and durability. During development, Lexus engineers tested thedrivetrain for 1.3 million kilometres – the equivalent of 32 times around the globe.
PERMANENT ALL-WHEEL DRIVE
Featuring front and rear differentials, 3 propeller shafts and TORSEN® Limited Slip Differential,robust permanent all-wheel drive is at the heart of the LX 570’s supreme off-road ability. For maximum traction, the torque-sensing differential distributes power according to the grip available at each wheel.
MULTI-TERRAIN MONITOR
Miniature cameras are strategically positioned in both of the door mirror housings, the front grille and tailgate. These relay up to six live images tothe Multi-Terrain Monitor, providing a near 360° view of the area around the vehicle. This helps the driver spotrocks, ruts, crevices or sheer dropsthat might otherwise be obscured from view.
FOUR-WHEELACTIVE HEIGHT CONTROL
Intelligent control of air-suspension technology automatically adjusts the ground clearance at each wheel. By making continuous, individual adjustments according to the terrain, this Lexus world-first technology ensures optimum off-road vehicle balance and control.

For peerlesscommand of wilderness conditions, Multi-Terrain Select adjusts multiple vehicle systems to best negotiate thechosen terrain: Loose Rock, Mud/ Sand, Mogul, Rock or Rock/Dirt. At low speeds, Crawl Control intelligently applies throttle and brakingapplications – optimised by multi-terrainABS. This lets the driver focus exclusively on steering the LX 570 in the toughest of off-road conditions.
