Like it’s sedan counterpart, the IS250C’s interior is one of luxury and practical innovation. The redesign of the cabin to cater for the convertible mode guarantees the comfort of the coupé. The climate control system has been revised for top-down driving with its speed sensitive control which automatically increases airflow while the roof is down and according to the speed of the vehicle. ??
All the Lexus’ premium sound systems are uniquely designed to cater for the specific acoustic parameters of our vehicles, and IS250C is no different. The volume and equiliser of the 8-speaker Premium Sound System with 6 disc CD changer adjusts when the top is down to cater for the additional wind and road noise. Bass-tones usually lost in convertibles are adjusted to provide pristine sound.
While most convertibles sacrifice space for fresh air, the beautiful interior of the IS250C has been designed to provide ample leg room for all passengers and boot space to accommodate a 9-inch golf bag with hard top stowed and the luggage cover in place. The full-size rear seats have been moved inboard 30 mm to optemise headroom while also taking advantage of the revised, more slender front seat to provide generous leg room.
Sharing the IS250’s onboard instruments and surrounding components, such as the EMV Navigation, Voice Command and Blutetooth® technology, the IS250C is greater than the sum of its convertible parts.
