Dynamic comfort.
The cabin lamps of the GS300 invite a closer look at the spacious interior typical of that which is considered first class. The SmartAccess keycard automatically detects the approaching driver and unlocks the doors when the handle is touched. Starting the car and opening the boot are just as easy, never requiring the exertion of the driver to remove the key from his pocket.
Once inside, attention automatically shifts to the Electro Multi-Vision display (EMV) in the vehicle’s centre console. The touch sensitive liquid crystal display (LCD) allows the driver to conveniently operate the audio system, navigation, telephone and climate control from one location. The light sensitive meters on the dash also cater for premium comfort by automatically darkening when light is reflected on them, which, with the electric rear sunshade is unlikely.
Not only the light, but even the air of the GS is filtered. The air-conditioning bears a deodorant filter for the removal of dust and pollen. The front seats are also ventilated* and heated for optimum tranquility.
Indeed, the GS300 is cultured to the last degree. Engineered with an understanding of the driver’s needs, the top class DVD navigational* system and Bluetooth™ voice-controlled technology are at home in the GS. The Electro-Multi Vision display on which the satellite navigation is shown, is touch sensitive allowing the driver to set co-ordinates, adjust the climate and control the pristine audio of the 14-speaker Mark Levinson sound system*. The DVD Navigation of the GS300 is easy to use on the EMV, with its Human-Machine Interface allowing the driver to set not only his destination but even the colour preferences of the display.
Lexus have pursued perfection, and have arrived at the splendour of the GS300.
