The darker, glare and UV resistant windows lend themselves to the comfort inherent in the GS and its appearance. Similarly effected, the electro-chromatic mirrors reduce light reflected off of their surfaces to prevent harsh glares from obstructing the driver’s visibility, an ideal carried through to the rain-sensing wipers. The wipers are automated to allow the driver a more meaningful and immersed experience.
The Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) further improves visibility by training the lights to follow the driver’s field of vision, based on the direction of the steering wheel and speed of the vehicle. Even the Parking Assist Monitor is designed to pre-empt the driver’s needs by displaying objects to the rear of the car on the Electro Multi-Vision Display (EMV) on the centre console.
