RX450h: INTERIOR

A performance car inherently luxurious

Electric Vehicle Mode

Not only does the RX450h inhibit carbon emissions, but also noise. The Electric Vehicle (EV) mode permits the RX to run solely on the electric motors, useful for reducing noise in quiet residential areas and limiting exhaust emissions in enclosed spaces.

Power Meter

The Power Meter display allows you to see how much power the Lexus Hybrid Drive system is producing and how much energy it is conserving.

15-Speaker Mark Levinson® Digital Surround Audio System

Designed to cater for the acoustics of the cabin, the Mark Levinson® Reference Surround Audio System is the ultimate in audio equipment. Boasting 15 speakers, the 240-watt system provides crystal clear quality with power. The system also features an auxiliary input, USB port, Bluetooth® compatibility and 10 GB of storage.

State of the Art Remote Touch/ Haptic Device

Although equipped with all the amenities of previous generations, the new RX450h makes them easier to control with the advanced Remote Touch. The satellite technology, climate control, on-board computers and audio system can all be controlled using an onscreen cursor. The mouselike joystick on the centre console fits naturally into the driver’s hand making it easier to use than touching a button.

HDD(Hard Disk Drive) DVD Navigation

The Electro Multi-Vision (EMV) in the dashboard of the RX450h LXE, pristinely displays the DVD-based navigation system. With user-friendly interface technology and upgraded software the Lexus navigation system has become one of the most accessible on the market.

Bluetooth™ Technology

Conveniently 21st-Century, the RX450h is Bluetooth™ compatible. The wireless communication connects automatically to your mobile phone and transfers your numbers and addresses for voice activation. The DVD Navigation is also controlled via Bluetooth™ using voice activation.

Electronic Climate Control

The automated climate system is, like the DVD Navigation, easily adjusted via the touchscreen EMV display in the dashboard. By monitoring the volume of air in the cabin via a number of sensors, the climate control distributes air evenly for optimum comfort. A feature expounded by the heating and cooling integrated into the front seats.

Electro-Chromatic Mirrors

When detecting excessive light from headlights of other cars, the sensors in the rear-view mirror link to the electro-chromatic surface in the dashboard to automatically darken. The feature prevents night blindness and glare.
